Welcome to the second annual High-Performance Spaceflight Computing (HPSC) Workshop, held in conjunction with the IEEE Space Computing Conference. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, we are excited to gather a distinguished group of speakers to explore the latest advancements and readiness of HPSC technology and ecosystem. As we push the boundaries of space exploration and satellite technology, the need for high-performance, AI-capable, robust and secure computing solutions is more critical than ever. This year’s workshop will focus on three key areas poised to shape the future of space missions:

  1. Readiness of the HPSC Technology: Microchip will provide the latest updates on the development of HPSC technology, including the processors, development kits, software, and tools. This session will offer a comprehensive overview of the current status and future prospects of HPSC solution.
  2. Use Cases and Infusion of HPSC Technology: Invited speakers from NASA-JPL and the space industry will present real-world use cases and applications of HPSC. These presentations will highlight how HPSC technology is being integrated into future space missions, demonstrating its practical benefits and transformative potential.
  3. HPSC Ecosystem: The industry is building a broad HPSC ecosystem that encompasses suppliers for boards, companion components, software, and design tools, and services. Speakers will showcase the collaborative efforts that are driving the advancement of HPSC technology.

The advancements and insights shared at HPSC workshop will play a crucial role in shaping the future of space computing and enabling the next generation of space missions.
